A4 Milan-Bergamo motorway expansion
Vitali Group was one of the leading players in the recent construction of the fourth lane on the A4 Motorway stretch Milan-Bergamo. The project consisted in widening the motorway platform for a total length of 9 km and 400 m. Vitali S.p.A. completed, on behalf of PAVIMENTAL S.p.A., the ramps near the Trezzo junction and the new arterial roads connecting the secondary road network, adjacent to the motorway extension.
Vitali Group also provided all the roadbed materials from its quarry in Caponago (Milan). An important task employing a large number of people and vehicles, improving the traffic flow and the level of safety on this motorway stretch , facing every day a very high volume of traffic, with daily peaks of 140,000 vehicles and 40,000 trucks and coaches.
