Vitali awarded/won another major contract for the adaptation of airport flight infrastructures from international airport “Capodichino”of Naples, eighth Italian port/hub with more than six million passengers for year. Was the first Italian airport to be privatized and managed by GESAC, a company controlled by the British BAA (British Airports , Authority), which also runs/managed London airports. The contract assigned by Gesac, with a total value of 6 million euro, concerns in particular the expansion and adaptation of taxy way; (a total area of about 50,000 square meters).
In addition to the realization all the works of adaptation the various fittings, it will be installed on site , a mobile implant that will be used to produce the material necessary for the realization of substrates.
The existing surface of the conglomerate , will be completely removed and repositioned a new asphalt surface. Vitali will make use the latest (generation)machinery that use the satellite system in order to ensure a perfect flatness in the context of intervention. The will also used special asphalt mixtures (specially developed and designed by Vitali team) to the Naples airport into consideration the particular environmental characteristics of the sites.
The intervention , provides that the jobs are begins with operating airport, will start in October and will be completed in December 2016.
